Our Foundation
Our aim is to keep Jesus Christ as the head of our home. We strive, but know we sometimes fail, to bring a Christ-like attitude to everything we do. Below are some of the scriptures that are foundational to our faith.
John 3: 16-17
For God so loves the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Joshua 24: 15
......but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Mark 12: 29-31
....Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "There is no commandment greater than these."
Jeremiah 29: 11-13
"For I know the plans I have for you." declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Malachi 3: 10
"Let your tenths come into the store-house so that there may be food in my house, and put me to the test by doing so, says the Lord of armies, and see if I do not make the windows of heaven open and send down such a blessing on you that there is no room for it.
