It has certainly been a very rewarding show season to see the Poland China breed grabbing overall banners and especially to have a role in that with Perfect Storm having a truly outstanding season to date. So we are very pleased to announce that we have partnered with J.R. Reid to purchase STORM CHASER - our $30,500 private auction purchase from Brattains. We are not sure we have seen this kind of Storm brewing around a private auction for a Poland boar for a while and we think he is very worthy of the interest and the price tag.
STORM CHASER is a stress carrier son of Perfect Storm on Brattain’s Old School sow that was 3rd Overall Team Purebred (Champion Poland) @ the 2012 WPX Jr Show. Storm Chaser’s littermate gilts were named Champion & Reserve Poland @ Team Purebred National and the Champion Gilt was named Reserve Overall Team Purebred Gilt. His littermates stood 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 8th in class @ WPX and included Dalaney Vickrey’s 4th Overall (Reserve Poland) Team Purebred Gilt.
We are thrilled to see Polands grabbing the BIGGEST banners available and we are confident Storm Chaser can continue that trend.
