SET APART is our private treaty purchase from Brockman Farms on our visit there Spring of 2025. He hit us incredibly hard and we knew he was one we absolutely had to have! Visually, SET APART represents the kind of design, build, and presence that stand out in a big ring setting. He is absolutely wild in his look ahead of his blade, being tall shouldered, elevated, and extended. He displays ideal proportions being flat backed and moderate in his stature, while maintaining the right kind of extension off either end of his skeleton. The view he gives you as he drives right at you leaves a memorable first impression with a huge chest floor, and his neck tying high into his blade. He is incredible in the turn to his loin edge and shows off a deep ditch running end to end. He stands on a stout foundation of big legs and has great feet/toes. The angles to his skeleton allow him to grab a high gear and float with such impressive range of motion. SET APART is so complete and fault free, while still bringing ALL the extras and wow factor that you could ever ask for! He represents the ultimate in showpig build and design!

His mother is a My Intention x Dirty Secret x Building Speed sow, with that Dirty Secret grandmother being the mother of the 2021 San Antonio Reserve Grand Barrow and the Building Speed great-grandmother is Step 1's mother!! Special stuff stacked deep here, giving us even more faith in his ability to be a dominating kind of sire!!
