PROMISE KEEPER is our very exciting purchase from Lettow/Berry Showpigs at the 2024 The Exchange that we are very excited to add to a Duroc line-up that we have huge expectations for!!! We heard early on that PROMISE KEEPER was special and we agree as he has matured into a monster! He has been incredibly popular with visitors on tours and is getting a great chance in some of the most elite sow herds in the country!

PROMISE KEEPER has the look of a true changer!! He offers some very extreme and far-reaching pieces in a package that is still balanced and structurally correct. He is tremendous in his height of shoulder, look and extension through his front end, while still being masculine in his skull and jawline. He is very expressive in his muscle shape with a ditch running all the way back to a monster hip and carries this spread and dimension down, transitioning to a big rib cage and deep center body. He comes and goes with width and power, handling it all with ease and comfort, while standing on a giant legs and feet!

PROMISE KEEPER is sired by Waymaker who is off to an awesome start siring winners in both the gilt and barrow arenas as soon as his first pigs hit the ring early this show season, as well as several sons that are poised to make an impact. PROMISE KEEPER's littermate sister shown by Delaney Runner has been named Grand Overall Gilt numerous times this show season!

PROMISE KEEPER's dam is a (Stay In Your Lane x Master Plan) sow that was Ashtin Guyer's 2022 Exposition Grand Overall Breeds Gilt! This young sow is quickly proving to be an elite generator, previously producing the 2023 Exposition Reserve D2 Duroc gilt and the 2023 Nebraska State Fair Champion Duroc Barrow.

The Master Plan grandmother was also shown by the Guyer Sisters and was the 2020 Exposition 5th Overall (Reserve Duroc) Gilt! Diving deeper you trace back to the sow that Lettow and Heimer purchased from Doug Stewart that has proven to be a true foundation female for both herds in terms of winners, boars and sows influenced by that female! PROMISE KEEPER has a stacked pedigree backing him!!
