Perfect Storm is our $35,000 STC Poland China boar purchase with the Frank Sandall family-from Jeff & Margaret Wingo. With the private treaty purchase of Titleist - our negative Dang Good Hog son from the Sandalls we had decided we would only be interested in a Poland boar if we found one that was the most monster boned one we had seen.
We have never seen front toes this wide and square on a Poland and not on very many of any breed. Then we see the set to his front and rear pasterns and they are PERFECT. Then we see he is Stress Negative. Then we see him roll down the aisle in an incredibly athletic package. You will rarely see a Poland that reaches and grabs the ground with his rear pasterns like Perfect Storm. Then we see his rib, body & mass. Then we see his awesome top and rump shape. Then we see he is 3/4 outcross to PSSS Nom Nom Nom and an outcross to the Pretty Good Hog / Dang Good Hog / Done Deal lines and it hit us all as the PERFECT STORM.
With his first season just wrapping up it is clear - Perfect Storm has helped take Poland Chinas to a whole new level.
