AFFLICTION!!! This is the powerful addition from S&K Showpigs that has us pumped up!! It was love at first sight when we saw the video of AFFLICTION! I don’t believe we have ever gone from seeing a video to having a deal done as fast as we did with AFFLICTION that night!!! AFFLICTION is one of the most impressive animals on video we have seen and we got him home we quickly realized the video doesn’t lie---and he is even more incredible in person!!!! We are thrilled we were able to add him to our Exotic line-up. For starters, he offers a pedigree that is proven to get it done at the highest levels year after year!! Sired by the great Backdrop boar, and out of a Dirty Secret x Visionary sow that is the #1 sow at S&K! AFFLICTION’S littermate sister was the 2022 OYE Third Overall Dark Cross and 5^Th Overall Crossbred Gilt (Champion Division 2 Dark Crossbred Gilt)!! That sow is also responsible for so many wins over the years including being the mother of the 2021 NJSS Champion & Reserve Division 2 Crossbred Gilts! The Stauffer name is synonymous with boars that breed on, win big, and make them better---we think AFFLICTION is the next great one to come from S&K in a long line of tremendous breeding boars that have come from that firm!!!

AFFLICTION is one that absolutely blows visitors away here on tours! Visually, he is so dang impressive from every angle!! He starts with an incredible foundation at the ground, having enormous feet and legs, yet is super-clean jointed and tremendously square and true coming and going! He is a monster in his back shape and spread and exhibits a deep, defined groove exploding out of the backside of his blade and carries this definition all the way back!! From the side, he offers an extremely striking view, being so stout skulled with tremendous extension and elevation, while still being short backed with awesome barrow proportions! He has a rich, dark haircoat and is as shaggy as you can make one! When we get asked to rank our exotic boars here in stud, Affliction falls in way up on the list of boars we have to offer to our customers! This is an extremely elite animal out of an awesome litter with proven genetics on the top and bottom sides of his pedigree! You can’t go wrong with that!
