Mike has been raising hogs that can complete and win on the biggest stages at the highest levels of competition for many years! Mike Steele is an extremely well-respected breeder of elite livestock and his ability to put together the pieces of the puzzle to make truly far-reaching individuals is what makes FULL TILT such a special creation!! Sired by the great NO INTRODUCTION (not much else needs to be said after the start he has had to his siring career) who has proven to be one of the most popular boars we have ever had at PBG!! It gets even more exciting as you dig into the bottom side of FULL TILT pedigree as his mother is a Curtain Call x Best Man, making her a double bred Best Man!! Curtain Call was one of our favorite boars we have ever owned due to his ability to generate the elite extras it takes to win the biggest shows, evident in the number of big banners his progeny won!!! We think combining the strengths of No Introduction and Curtain Call (as well as the double shot of the legendary Best Man) makes for one incredible genetic punch!! Not only is his genetic makeup intriguing on paper, his phenotypic traits back it up visually with his combination of so many extreme, far-out pieces into one dynamic package!! FULL TILT has been an absolute blast to watch develop through every stage of his maturity pattern!! He always immediately grabs your attention as a “must use†type of boar soon as you lay eyes on him. The shape and design to his skull and head make him stand out in a crowd, and just screams “generatorâ€! As you analyze him from the side, he gives you an absolutely unforgettable look, being tall at the point of his shoulder, runs up hill, yet still maintains the proper angle to his blade and slope to his forearm necessary in maintaining long term athleticism and comfort when set in motion. He displays a deep ditch that explodes out of the backside of his shoulder with a deep groove running all the way back to the rear 1/3 of his skeleton. His hip is long and level, with ideal slope and set to his hind leg which enables him to reach forward and drive with authority. He is extreme in his bone and heaviness of structure, while standing on enormous feet! On top of all this, FULL TILT sports a crazy dark, thick hair coat with incredible skin texture. As we all know that attribute has become extremely important and will prove very valuable when selling his offspring and especially when it’s time to stand out in a big ring!! If you couldn’t already tell, we are extremely high on this boar and what we think he can do as a sire.
