NO STRANGER is our $200,000 weanling boar purchase at Perfect Timing from Mark Gray!! Mark Gray has always been known producing elite quality livestock for generations and has made a true masterpiece here! NO STRANGER is the kind of boar that will generate offspring that become VERY familiar with the backdrop and getting pictures taken with big banners!! From the time we got to Lawton, Oklahoma, the barn was buzzing about the No Introduction son that Mark Gray had brought to the Perfect Timing Pig Sale!! As soon as we saw NO STRANGER driving out of his pen that first “preview†that night we knew we were looking at one of the truly special ones we had ever seen!! We have always said, the truly unique individuals are always the most difficult to adequately describe in words—they just have that “IT FACTOR†that is hard to quantify, yet when you are looking at it, you know!! NO STRANGER leaves absolutely no doubt, he is loaded with “ITâ€!! We truly believe he has the genetic and phenotypic greatness to be a legendary sire!!
From a genetic standpoint, NO STRANGER and his littermate, QUITE FRANKLY offer a very special bloodline that gives us even more confidence in their ability to breed on and become a consistent sire of dominating showpigs!! They are sired by the incredibly popular and successful, No Introduction that we purchased from Mollet Showpigs at the 2020 Perfect Timing sale. NO INTRODUCTION is off to a blazing start as a sire, already putting lots of big wins in his portfolio and we think he is just getting started!! NO STRANGER’S mother is a special young Cruel Intentions sow that Mark purchased from Hilty Showpigs! On the bottom side of their mother’s pedigree, it gets even more exciting with her being a Cruel Intentions x Red Alert x Power Plant (Bone Thug son) x Hillbilly Bone x Space Monkey) That sow line is proving to be extremely potent in terms of the generating ability they offer and look to be cornerstone type females for both firms moving forward! In fact, Hilty’s very popular Perfect Timing entry was actually out of a littermate sow to the mother of NO STRANGER and QUITE FRANKLY! Their genetic power coupled with their undeniable phenotype and extreme qualities make for a truly exciting package!!
Visually, NO STRANGER is an absolute STUD!! His natural presence and show pig attitude he offers is immediately evident as he drives out with his head held high and proud! When he turns and drives right at you, he shows off a big, broad chest and maintains this spread, width and genuine power throughout his body cavity. As you analyze the foundation of his skeleton, he is so impressive with absolutely enormous bone and foot size with thick, evenly spaced toes that match that extreme heaviness of structure. From the side profile, NO STRANGER is so attractive in his build and design. He is very tall fronted extended and extended through his head and neck, while still being very stout in his skull with a masculine jawline! As you get over the top side of his skeleton, he will blow you away with a big, expansive rib cage and a huge back!! He offers true spread and shape out of the backside of his shoulder blade and carries a deep, defined groove and crisp muscle pattern all the way back to a big, square hip. He maintains this power and thickness down through a thick, expressive rump and displays flare to his inner thigh muscle, down through his stifle. As you can tell from our description above, we can go on for a long time about the elite attributes that NO STRANGER brings to the table. He simply offers so many unique attributes that are so hard to put together, while bringing all these extremes and extras in a very comfortable, structurally correct package!
