Sired by Scouts Honor, the boar at Wintex Farms that is off to a blazing start to his siring career, most notably the 2021 San Antonio Jr Show Reserve Grand Overall Gilt (Champion Berk) and the 2021 Texas Elite Reserve Berk Gilt! ABOUT TIME’S mother was the 2019 Texas Elite Reserve Berk Gilt bred by MB Genetics. ABOUT TIME offers a really neat blend of genetic lines and has the elite phenotypic traits to back it up!! We believe it’s ABOUT TIME and he’s a boar that can make a dramatic impact improving the Berkshire breed!!

ABOUT TIME is one extremely rugged, dense, stout featured boar!! He is a very heavy boned, big footed hog with a masculine skull and jaw and big, thick tail root. From the side profile, he offers impeccable balance and proportions, being moderate in his frame, yet tall fronted and extended with a very attractive look through his head and neck. ABOUT TIME is very impressive in the roll to his upper rib and maintains this down with great body shape. As he drives away, he exemplifies squareness from the top of his hip, maintaining width all the way to the ground with a square, clean jointed hick/rear leg design. He is the kind of boar that can be used on a wide variety of females, while still injecting all the extremes and extras it takes to win big shows!! We think the future is very bright for ABOUT TIME. He’s the kind that consistently sires champion barrows, boars, and gilts, while also making the breed better.
