On our trip to Cook Family Livestock, we were initially totally focused on the Hampshire boar we had been hearing about, but when they drove this one out of the barn, he became a priority. Sired by the record selling Poland boar Black Mamba, and out of the 2019 The Exposition Grand Open Show Poland Gilt.

BLACK MARKET is out of a very deep, high quality litter with a littermate sister that was the 2020 Team Purebred National Jr Show Third Overall Poland Gilt, as well as another gilt that was very successful in the jackpots this summer.

BLACK MARKET is a Poland boar that is unique from a design and build standpoint. He is extremely elevated and extended, while still being stout skulled, and rugged in his skeleton. He offers very good body shape and spread, and gives a great look as he drives away, planting on a square, loose hind leg. Most importantly, the angles to his skeleton, toe quality, and overall structural correctness is what truly sets him apart and makes him a valuable Poland sire moving forward!!
