Mayhem is a Hampshire boar that is flat out exciting to us. He is moderate in his frame, HUGE in his bone and foot, extremely wide coming and going, all while traveling comfortably & straight on all four. Mayhem’s mother was the Reserve Hamp Gilt at the 2011 Indiana State Fair. Mayhem’s littermate won Grand Overall Barrow @ Wabash County (IN) and that is one tough banner to bring home.

Mayhem stunned us when we walked him out last winter. He looked better than he ever has and many have said he is one of the most impressive mature Hampshire boars they have seen in a long time. He is MONSTER legged and can get out and roll – AN IMPRESSIVE BEAST. Not only does he look impressive in how he handles his power, his babies are flawless in their design.

MAYHEM sired 2 of the best Hampshire boars we have seen in a while in the $90K InSF Champ No Debate & the $16K Duncan Champ we purchased - Anarchy. Along with the Grand boar at Indiana & Duncan, the Rule Family showed a Mayhem barrow that was a class-winner @ InSF 4-H and went on to be Reserve Hamp @ NBS. Matt Morehouse also raised another InSF 4-H class-winning barrow.

We think many used Mayhem like we did and shied away from power. We have changed the way we are going with him and are going to take him to power as he will certainly keep the power in them and it looks like he will put incredible wheels under them. Hampshires may be the most challenging breed out there but the reason the stands at Indiana are still packed for the Hampshire show is because when you can put Hampshire boars together like the Cooks did at Indiana and Duncan and like the NAILE Champion shown by Lexi Delaney produced by Keppy’s - there is nothing more fun to watch drive across the ring.
