When we introduced Superman "We believed we were now being handed the best Berkshire we had ever seen – period – no debate – no question – not a close second" Superman has obviously done his part to back that claim up and we LOVED Superman as he got the ball rolling for us. But when we were handed his full brother Big Gulp and his son SuperFly, we said we thought we just moved to a whole new level. They backed that claim up big time this fall/winter.

Big Gulp is massive boned and massive chested and reaches out and just grabs the ground like his big brother but does it with a freakier front end that explodes out of his blade. Big Gulp’s littermates went 1st & 5th in gilts & 6th in barrows & San Antonio in 2013. We are grateful to the Jones and Bennett Families for letting Big Gulp come to PBG to keep the Berskshire stable full of great options.

Big Gulp’s first set has produced very well including the Champion & Reserve Overall Gilt @ Team Purebred Mid-South. Champion Berkshire Barrow OK Southwest District and 3rd Place gilt @ OYE.

Big Gulp continued his nice run this summer having a Class-winning Boar & a Class-winning Gilt @ STC Open Show as well as two 2nd place gilts @ TP Junior Nationals.
