One of the most frequent questions we receive is how is Visionary doing? Visionary semen looks great, is holding very well and conception rates are tremendous.
Visionary is the Bone Collector x Super Monster son of the $500,000 3/4 interest pair of boars purchased from Steve Cobb & Family. When he walked out of the Cobb's boar barn the first thing that hit us was his tree-trunk back legs that truly look fake. Then you see his hip which is the longest and best hip and makes him one of the most athletic boars we have seen out of Collector or Thug. Then you see his barrel rib and absolutely massive flank. Then the real topper is one of the most uniquely-powerful but extended head/necks you can imagine.

Visionary went on an absolute tear in his first 4 seasons that included18 State Fair Grand Overalls and continues to have tremendous success each season.
In his winter 2019 crop Visionary sired the Reserve Overall Yorkshire barrow @ Houston as well as the 3rd Overall Gilt at Georgia Nationals.

There is not a whole lot left to say about what Visionary has accomplished to date and we think he is as relevant today as he was the day we purchased him. Visionary continues to produce off-spring that can win at the Majors as he sired the Reserve Yorkshire Barrow @ Houston and the 3rd Overall Gilt @ Georgia Nationals.
Even more impressive to us is the job his daughters are doing in the crate. The number of elite showpigs having Visionary on the bottom side is truly impressive and reports of their mothering ability have been tremendous!!!

Reserve Grand Overall Gilt California, Reserve Overall Gilt Cow Palace (California). At WPX he sired the Champion Gilt, Reserve Champion Gilt, & 5th Overall Gilt in Division 1 & Champion & 3rd Overall Gilt Division 2 as well as the 4th Overall Div 2 barrow.
2nd Season (Spring 2016) - Placed 8 gilts in the OYE Sale of Stars -more than any other sire. He also produced the Champion & Reserve Yorkshire Barrows @ OYE, Champion White AOB Barrow California State Fair, Champion Middleweight Cross @ NAILE, the Reserve Middleweight Cross @ NWSS and the Champion Boar (3 class-winners) @ Belton.

Visionary has carried on his father’s legacy of stamping showpigs that have a naturally high head carriage and a look-at-me strut that is critical in the showring.
Visionary will generally follow the color of the sow which has resulted in some very cool "appearing" showpigs. Visionary has already sired the 2016 Champion Yorkshire Barrow @ OYE, Reserve Champion Yorkshire Barrow OYE, & 2016 Champion Yorkshire Barrow California State Fair.
With the number of elite offspring having Visionary on the bottom side of the pedigree, it has become crystal clear that Visionary daughters are going to be just as special in the farrowing crate as they are in the showring!!!
