Here he is!!! A Yorkshire boar that is so good, we think he's AUTOMATIC! This is our powerful new off the farm purchase from a living legend of the Yorkshire breed--Tracy Lorenzen! Lorenzen Farms has been a force in the Yorkshire breed for decades and is responsible for some of the most influential breeding hogs that have generated and made a long-lasting impact on the industry! Tracy told us he thought he had a special one and when he speaks, we listen!! When we saw him walk out, it was AUTOMATIC that he is the RIGHT BOAR for the Yorkshire breed - RIGHT NOW! His width and squareness coming and going as well as his skeletal build and ideal hip design gives him tremendous flexibility and athleticism. AUTOMATIC has huge legs and feet with very strong pasterns---which is a rare combination for the Yorkshire breed. From the profile he offers ideal proportions with awesome angles! Ahead of his blade, he has an exotic look with a very extended neck and a stout breeding-boar skull!

AUTOMATIC is sired by Hit List (Hit Stick x Impulse) who has had an awesome first season as his pigs have hit the show ring. Hit List can inject some really unique pieces for the Yorkshire breed and his pigs have hit the backdrop at a very high rate this summer! AUTOMATIC'S mother is a Commotion sow that is also the mother of the Bloomberg gilt that was shown so successfully last summer including being named the '23 NJSS Reserve Champion Yorkshire gilt. This sow is also the mother of the Wesselar Family's '24 Winter National 5th Overall (Champion Yorkshire) Gilt! AUTOMATIC comes from a program that continues to win at such a high rate and the boars and sows that come from Lorenzen Farms go on and generate for their customers!
