JUMP START is a monster of a Poland China boar we purchased from Cook Family Livestock that we are absolutely fired up about!!

JUMP START combines the best traits of Head Start and Black Mamba into an unforgettable package! He is extremely stout, bold, and powerful, yet combines those traits with an incredible look, design, and overall build. He comes and goes with width and dimension and handles it all with comfort, reach, and range of motion! He’s got it all!

JUMP START is out of a tremendous litter and backed by a powerhouse lined up genetic package!! He is sired by Head Star who is one of the most popular boars of any breed we have ever housed and as soon as his offspring started selling and hitting the show ring—that excitement has gone to a whole new level. He appears to be a very, very special generator.

JUMP START’s dam is sired by Black Mamba and is the mother of New Design - Head Start’s Sire!!!

His dam’s littermate littermate sister was the 2020 Expo 3rd Overall Poland Gilt and is the mother of the 2022 STC $12,000 Poland Female exhibited by Piper Unger and Equivalent at Purple Power. The grandmother of JUMP START was the 2019 WPX Champion Poland Gilt that has served as the foundation of the Cook’s Poland sow herd that has lead to their tremendous impact on the Poland China breed.
